Syracuse lost to WV week one 7-15. The defense is tough but the offense has just switched to the west coast offense and it'll take time to adjust.

This line opened up at 9.5 and is down to 7 in some places. Most still are at 7.5.

TCU +3.5 : TCU beats Okl week one and then had a let down against SMU. TCU was 11-2 in 2003 and then dropped to 5-6 last year. Before last year they were in Bowl games 6 years in a row. In 2003 they were close to getting a BSC Bowl bid.

Utah had a great season last year but lost their head coach, QB Alex Smith and their top 3 WRs. They were +15 in turnovers last year. They only have 10 returning starters.

 

I think that TCU with will come out fired up in their first home game in 2005 on National TV.

Cal -21: Line opened at 21.5. Pinny bounced back and forth between 21 and 21.5 and is now 21.5. Most other books at 21 now. Should go higher throughout the day.

Cal won 56-17 @ Wash last week. Illinois gave up 30 pts to Rutgers week 1. Cal should be able to put up some big numbers against the Illini.
