I trust all of you are aware of the very critical conditions of Pope John Paul II.

His personal legacy is a living reminder of the Passion of Christ. His determination to leave a testimony of love and compassion despite all his physical problems and against all odds is something that all Men, believers and non, should regard with the greatest respect.

I invite all Men of faith, of any faith, to pray for the soul of John Paul II.

John Paul II has died at 9.37 pm Rome time, 2.37 pm est, on this 2nd day of April 2005.

I invite all men and women of faith to pray for the soul of the Holy Father.
