Oldie,
Please post about your direct experience with the book in question, if any. Please avoid blind shilling. My goal is to have players share their experience with books on this forum rather than read meaningless shill jobs.
Thank you. |

meaningless shill jobs????
Lets have a understanding here Roberto..I make NO extra money posting if i like or dislike a sportsbook..If i say that Royal, and Sportbet our one of the best sprortsbooks offshore..I MEAN IT! So if you don't like the way i make post..Well i am sorry!
direct experience,
Ok...You do your time and roll..You get paid with zero problems.
When i make a post about a particular sportsbook..I am there with REAL money at these sportsbooks..Not a distant spectator posting grades on sportsbooks with not actually playing cashing out and posting up at the book..I am in the deep with this sportsbooks and know WTF I AM POSTING about.. and my post are NOT A PHONY SHILL JOB THANK YOU! Sure i might go overboard at times..But i speak of todays Sportbet, Royal..Not 4 years ago or 3 days from now!
Please avoid blind shilling,
never! You will not see me shill for a book i have no idea about ..Unlike SBR and other(hint hint)Websites..You offer a nice bonus offer.. and a nice betting options and pay players in a timely manner and i am your shill boy!
all we need is bonus!

The main complaint with sportbet on the forums has been in regards to bonuses/rollovers. I wanted to wait to post anything until I made a cashout. Here is my experience:
I won a $1000 contest sponsored by sportbet (along with poster PlasmaMan) at Fantasy Bets Zone.
This required a $500 deposit to claim and a rollover. As this was my first deposit with Sportbet, they offered me their 50% sign up bonus on that money as well, as long as I abided by the rollover on that. They called me on the phone and we discussed the terms My total rollover ended up being about 5X on a $2250 balance.
I gave them the required rollover plus only a few hundred more, and requested a payout for $1000 today. It was processed within 3 hours with no problems.
I have to conclude that people who have had issues with their bonuses are not fulfilling their side of the agreement, or are not reading the terms properly. They do not count moneyline wagers toward rollover (not sure what the policy is in regards to baseball). Also wagers during their promotional periods do not count towards rollover (for instance Tuesday -105 and Thursday free half points during basketball). I think this is fair, although they could probably spell out the terms better on their site so there is no confusion with new players.
They admittedly do not want to book to "bonus whores", and I cannot blame them.
They offer a good selection of wagers (including 2nd halves on most games). They do not just hang consensus/screen numbers. This is especially true on the halftimes.
Their 50% bonus on 1st deposits (up to $250 bonus) by Neteller or E-check is a nice deal. They don't offer much more in terms of bonuses, but that is a good incentive for the smaller players to give them a shot.
Their free half point days and -105 days are a good deal. You can often get an "off" line and the promo on top of it. I played a lot into these lines even though it didn't count towards my wagering requirements.
The only thing I don't like is that their lines are up late, sometimes very late. I understand they don't want to get hit on the early line moves, but personally I like to place some of my bets in the AM. Their lines are sometimes not up until 11AM or later, at least during basketball.
They also do not have a lot of props or future, although they seem to be improving in that area. They have a decent selection, especially in NBA, but someone playing a lot of props/futures will probably not like it here.
I am going to continue to play there for the time being. |

I was a big Sportbet supporter and all was god till I started to win there and then the wheels fell off, internet limits cut in half and when I called in I was dealt a different line than what I saw online.I have to say they always paid without a hitch but don't get on Jake's bad side or it will be a very unplesent experience |

mvbski,
I understand your point. I personally like books that have a tight risk management in place. I know this may frustrate good players like you, yet I feel a player should be glad to know that the book he plays with is well managed.
One of the most common pattern of books that have failed in the past was the lack of risk management. They would take any kind of action hoping to win and at the same time believing that their customers would have not withdrawn their funds because of lower limits being imposed to them. |
