I'm currently investigating this "new shop".
According to the first background check the owner appears to have a low income and filed for chapter 7 in the mid 90s
Smells anything but good at this time..... |

thanks. how does a book qualify for a rating? when the # of enquiries (complaints?) reaches a critical mass, or do some shops come to you and ask to be rated (seeking exposure I guess)? |

Good question Dr. Black.
Its a combination of both. Some new or existing non rated shops tend to approach, others (primarily high risk ones) surface while managing disputes filed by players.
there are over 2,000 books in operation at this time. TOW has 132 rated books (with approximately 30 new ratings pending), SBR a bit over 400 rated books.
I usually prioritize ratings of rogue (high risk) operations, to ensure that players are aware of the risk.
With the 2005 of TOW Web site there will be an entire section dedicated to ratings criteria. There used to be one in the first release (April 04) but it was scratched in the second 04 release (November 04) since it was too basic and incomplete. |

sounds excellent. with 2000 books out there, I'm sure there are a couple of hundred deadbeats. it would be wonderful if one rip off was enough to get TOW alerted. I'm encouraged that no one has flamed no-juice-sports.com yet . I'll let you know if I get mistreated. |

Well dandy work on the chapter 7 bankruptcy! It was in conjunction with a corporation bankruptcy in which i had power to
sign checks
.... but you guys got it all wrong on the rest.
I am the web guy for this Company. They are legit and indeed are new-- online that is. So far they have paid me well and on time.
You can check anytime with them and actually get a human to talk to. The number is 1- 866-4nojuice
As far as me, I also have reserved several other domain names for them. You may find a few hundred domains around with my handle on them.
If you check with the library of congress you can find an archived site on me from a congressional run in 2002.
The papers hashed out the bankruptcy pretty well so if you want to read boring politics check out the AJC from that period.
http://lcweb4.loc.gov/elect2002/catalog/1658.html Your scrutiny is nothing compared to undercover political operatives I assure you, I just want to set the record straight.
My website is www.waynerparker.com I have nothing to hide and neither do these guys.

bizdoc,
I got a call today from the owner of www.no-juice-sports.com who explained to me the situation and your relationship with him.
I will visit the book during my next trip to Costa Rica in the coming few weeks. |

Bizdoc, "I do websites and marketing " is a tad disingenuous. Your reputation is involved if you market a website. If Bill Gates did the website and marketing it's one thing, if Robert Vesco did the work it's quite another. Doesn't hurt to find out your background before shipping money to nojuice. |

Pleased to exchange salutations with you bizdoc. After all, we are both "docs".
I in no way intended to impune your reputation. I have no idea if you are Gates or Vesco. That's why I enquired on Sept. 12 about No Juice.
Since 9/12, I have dealt with your book and found it excellent. One minor suggestion. however, could you get the limit raised on the no-juice games ? |

although it's kind of restricted (which is obvious by the way), it's still nice to let some money stay in your pocket...nothing special about the lines though |
