Before people dismiss this post because I'm a "newbie," let me introduce myself. I am Ronald, former Bet2Gamble.com renegade and poster at the RX. I was the one who broke the Fourtyplus.com scam. I was also the President of Dindons Against NeoMax, which was a group that exposed the rogue "Casino NeoMax" online casino (note: I resigned as President and handed it over to the now expired Dizzy). I have a lot of experience in the online world and its dealings.
I have an account at Oasis Sportsbook. I took advantage of their 25% reload promotion several weeks ago. I was in the process of meeting requirements when they closed my account, deducted my bonus and charged "fees" to my account as well. I had earned 80% of the bonus from meeting requirements, yet they removed the entire $250 bonus, plus fees. I was disgusted and baffled, since my balance at the time of account closure was actually LESS than what I began with! So I had actually lost money there. I phoned "Bucky" at OASIS and asked him to explain it to me. He told me the following:
1) They don't like Canadians.
2) He suspects that I am part of some kind of sportsbook "syndicate." Of course, I am not.
3) He said that I'm hitting "soft lines," despite the fact that I am a net loser there.
4) He refused to give me any part of the earned bonus because I'm a "Syndicate Canadian scammer"
5) He demanded to know who the leader of my syndicate was. When I told him that he was talking nonsense he then accused ME of being the leader!
6) He told me I was "lucky" to get paid the remaining balance in my account, minus the bonus and "fees"
7) He told me that it was improper behavior to hit lines at Oasis that are "soft"
8) He said that on a number of occasions I placed sharp bets while he was taking a dump in the bathroom (this is not a joke!). Because he was defecating at the time, he was unable to adjust the lines. Somehow he thinks I knew he was dropping a Number 2 and decided to take that opportunity to hit his lines.
9) He also said it was "sharp" of me to make overnight bets. Their overnight limits are only $250, and I only made ONE overnight wager, which I LOST!!!!
10) He then hung up on me.
TOW, I know you specialize in providing assistance to gamblers in this situation, but I am not asking for any. For a nominal amount of $250, it's not worth it. I simply wanted to share this experience with the TOW members. Please spread the word about this rogue book. I would also like to hear if anyone else (especially Canadians) has had similar experiences.

I seriously doubt that kosar, but if ronald wants to go through the panel, he needs only to request it.... |

Typical behavior from this book. They offer promos, then take them away.
Perhaps TOW should consider lowering their rating...
I am also considering tossing my Oasis T-shirt in the trash...I don't want to be spotted at the grocery store supporting this welfare outfit.

Oasis is due for a downgrade, and a pretty steep one, should they not be able to provide some coherent explanation to the behaviour ronald described. |

They get a 4 because they "usually" keep their word? We are talking about a couple of hundred bucks here. What if someone sent them serious money? Shouldn't a 1 be about right for a shop that is so obviously corrupt. |

By the way, Oasis did this to me years ago. I won ym first 4 bets and they revoked my bonus and kicked me out. |

coolguy,
they consider themselves a shop for recreational gamblers only. if they feel a player is a professional gambler (even if they are wrong) then they confiscate the bonus money... |
