Why not ?
If the sales rep is insistant or rude you can always hung up, otherwise just listen to their sales pitch....you never know.
I personally don't mind as long as they don't call at odd hours.... |

I hate cold callers! Especially when you tell them over and over again not to call, but they keep calling. |

It doesn't really bother me if its once in awhile but First Fidelity is getting out of hand. It doesn't make any difference on what I tell them, they call back |

I got cold called today by Dimebetting. Just told them I wasn't interested, and to remove me from the call list, since I know their history as a scam.
In the past I've been cold called by Royal and BCN. I am waiting for those calls. If Royal calls, I'll tell them I won't play at a book connected to a known Offshore stiff like Tej. If BCN calls, I'll tell them I won't play at their book unless they re-instate the A's future bets in full to the players they ripped off. If a legit place calls, I usually tell them to E-mail me and take me off their call list. |

Only calls I get are from someone trying to sell me meats. I got to the point when I hear the name, I just hang up. |

TheGuesser - John Vega, CEO of dimebetting.com here. You make a statement about dimebetting having a "history as a scam", what are you talking about? Every player has been paid. Further, players are betting, winning, and being paid daily.
Yes, dimebetting.com hit a rough spot. I told players that had requested payouts they would be paid, and THEY DID get paid, every one of them. Even SBR's Bill Dozer saw this as a good thing and raised the dimebetting rating, raised being the important point.
Rest assured, Dimebetting.com is in the game for the long term. You bet, you win, you get paid - PERIOD.

At the time of the cold call, you were a nonpaying/slow paying sports book. 777 had not made good on your payments. That's changed, and I'm especially happy for the players, and for your business. Get through this Football season and a baseball season OK, and I'll have a different reaction on next year's cold call :) :)!
