Darts is more of a sport...I think ESPN covers that also.

Definition 3 seems to fit.
 
I think it is wonderful that poker is covered on ESPN.  Gambling and the skill involved is finally achieving a higher level of acceptance in our culture.

Poker has gotten old like most games on TV. Can only watch so many hands IMO. I still enjoy watching the Omaha events as they aren't something you see every day.

I think of it more as a game. And sports are a different sub-category of games that involve serious physical activity.
