Pending approval from the Nevada Gaming Commision Esportsclub LLC will open and be in direct competition with LVSC. It will provide lines and information.

Esportsclub will open as a three member staff. Owner Pete Korner was a former heads linemaker at LVSC. He's also bringing along two other former employees of LVSC..

Two years ago Korner tried to buy LVSC but the company was sold to a group of Las Vegas attorneys. Before that CBS Sportsline had owned LVSC.

There are a couple of rules that Korner will have to abide by. He can't enter into any agreements with Don Best. He also can't have any agrement with online sites without approval from the commision.

Esportsclub will cater to Nevada clients. Right now many of the Nevada sportsbooks are just comparing odds to the offshore books. Esportsbook is trying to come out with the sharpest lines that will provide little volatility to guarantee profits to Nevada casinos.

Huge fluctuations in the line can expose the book to losses. Unlike many offshore books Vegas sportsbooks look for balanced action. They try to get the guaranteed wins by drawing two way action.

If their lines are "better" it will bury a lot of places offshore that won't know which way to shade.

If this goes then I would be very wary of the smaller shops that have to clone as it is. It doesn;t take much. Probably won't be an issue in NFL, bt in bases it can be a pain for them.

Bring it on, I am tired of not seeing any scalps all day because every book has aDB screen open and move everytime someone takes a bet.

Just as long as the places I play at don't go broke.
