6/30/2005 Royal Sports admits fault and pays the player in full |
10.20 pm EST Royal Sports (r. 1) admits fault and will pay the player in full. This decision comes after days of endless negotiations between Royal Sports and Ken Weitzner aka The Shrink. The player had initially filed his complaint with TheRX. Albeit having left TheRX a few days ago, Weitzner continued to work behind the scenes to obtain full payment for the player. TOW salutes the success of our good friend Ken Weitzner |

There have been endless negotiations these past few days and a number of people have been involved in the coordinated effort to achieve closure to this horror story.
Bottomline the player gets what was rightfully his. |

First and foremost,
I'd like to thank ROYAL SPORTS for acknowledging GUILT by taking an EXTRAORDINARY amount of time to pay out the Player in this case...
Anyone who tries and defends a sports book who takes more than 6 weeks to complete a request for a payout is a MORON, and certainly NOT a PLAYER ADVOCATE!!!
I read a post at another site this morning by a very jealous and pathetic individual, but apparently because I supported The General, who brought this dispute to LIGHT, I have suddenly been BANNED from posting over there...
Imagine that?
The most important fact is that ROYAL and I have been in close touch for the past week. As many of you know, I have been one of their harshest critics due to the number of slow pays I have been privy to hear about.
While I originally had zero respect for them, at least a door of communication has opened between ROYAL and I, so that if any gambler who wishes to still play there has a problem, I believe I can help out...
A number of people also helped out (you guys know who you are) and I am grateful that the Player is GOING to be PAID...
I will post more once this happens...
Thanks,
THE SHRINK

Shrink- Was the player paid in full? It depends on which site you read as to whether it was full payment or whether a compromise was reached. |

Reports are that the player requested money and was slow paid. He decided to place bets during this time and lost his money. Then he said because he was slow paid that the losing bets should be cancelled and that he would like his money. Is this accurate? If it is accurate why was the player entitled to anything? |

Raiders,
The player was slow paid for nearly 2 MONTHS ! During that lapse of time he blew back 150K of his balance (so much for the wise guy allegations....)
The player denies having placed those two bets. To Royal's credit they have accepted to provide the audio tapes that would prove the contrary....Ken will have them analyzed by an audio expert and will report the expert's findings...
This process will require some time. Royal and Ken agreed that it was only FAIR to the player to compensate him AT LEAST for the admitted slow pays.
Now sit back, relax and wait for the audit of those tapes. |

Explain it a little clearer please. How much was originally in the players account before he made his first request? How much was he actually paid in between the time from his first request until right before Shrink was involved. The story changes daily and your post isn't very clear as to what happened. |

Oh my God...
China-man, I will let this stand under your full responsibility. I will talk to Russ now and get his side of the story. |

Roberto- So the guy zeroed his account but still should be paid the 20k? Many people in this situation try to scalp out. What happens if he did this and it worked out that he lost his Royal bets and won the others? |

Raiders,
The player denies having placed those calls. Royal says its him. This is why BOTH party agreed to an audit by an audio expert.
From the paper files the player has placed over 1,000 bets over the phone. And all his customer service requests were also via phone. |

Mind,
Up until June 11th the player was waiting on his checks. This is why he approached Ken and General as suggested by Jim of OSGA.
One day after the general contacted the book both checks were reversed to the player's account and two losing wagers entered.
Why should a player take the pain to file for a slow pay complaint and then enter wagers ? |

Roberto- With all due respect, you are posting second hand information. As you posted, Shrink was the one responsible for helping out to determine the payout, yet he ran from the questions in this thread even though I kept seeing him pop in and out. |

Raiders,
I have the spreadsheet file, I have correspondence and I have the screenshot of the player's account. That is everything but second hand... |

Drunkguy- What do you think about my question to Roberto. The guy may have been scalping out, so is he entitled to any money if he zeroed his account? |

roberto
is it your judgement that the players made the bets or not? Quite honestly, the tapes are convincing and I have yet to hear anyone say how they are "forged"
raiders - if he made the bets then they have to stand
