I played the following prop:
NCAA - ACC Conference +150 for Which Conference make it farther in the tournament |

|
(it was ACC vs Big 10 for this prop)
Today wager was refunded. I thought I had a winner since ACC won the tournament, obviously they must have made it farther than Big 10, which did not win the tournament.
A previous posted explanation was
"The ACC vs Big10 prop is for which conference will have a representative get further. A push may occur if both conferences have their final representatives get bounced in the same round say in the semi finals. Hopefully, this is the answer you were looking for."
Is there any way this can be considered a push?

well it is not a mistake, they are stricking to their story
"The reason why that wager was refunded was because both teams made it to the final so that was considerated a tie.

Unless they had that push rule posted when you made the bet you have a winner.I would think Royal doesn't want to pay out both sides on a "badly worded prop" |

not badly worded at all, UNC made it farther than anyone
I feel this is a case of "shot-taking". Otherwise, they could have graded this prop Saturday at 11 PM after the semis were finished. NCAA wasn't going to decide to add another game after the finals, so the prop was "official" then according to their ruling
If they cancelled at that time I wouldn't have as much of an issue. But to wait until the game is over and then refund wagers seems like they might have wanted to see the outcome first. I will almost guarantee they took very lopsided action on this prop. |
