what do you base your capping on, besides the depth chart.

the reason i'm even asking this is because, i don't bet preseason football. in my opinion, i feel it's a flip of a coin.

its not a flip of a coin at all. most times local newspapers will tell you how long starters are going to play, and that can be a huge info edge.

also, preseason is a great time to find out how deep teams are.

thats the reason i watch it rpm

in regards to your newspaper part of your post, thats not always true, because i remember buddy ryan playing all his starters the whole game, and the reports stated, that they wouldn't play for more than a half.

rpm, how do you gauge it though. i mean at this point who really knows how long the coaches will leave the starters in for because, even with the reports will not tell you an exact amount of playing time they will get.
