I understand its sometimes hard to put ourselves into others shoes but....suppose you are a bookie for one day...would you welcome your action as a player ? Would you cut your limits ? Would you delay your bets ?

well, the question is rather obscure. but, i probly would book my own action because looking at it from a bookies standpoint a players a player no matter if he's sharp or not. because, i would still have the advantage although it might be a small one at that.

a good capper is only as good as his info.

I guess few players would like to share the excitement of being bookies for one day....

one way to look at it is in reference to balancing a book...if so I would like to book my own action because the majority of my plays are going to be against the "public" side which should help in evening out the sides

The other side of it is whether I am making winning wagers or not. Obviously everyone believes that they are smilewinkgrin

Well I would maby cut the limits if I had to, but I would never ever delay bets. I canĀ“t really believe anyone does it. If they (books) are affraid of some action they should watch the lines constantly and change them when they wants, and not change them after a player "thinks" he has completed a bet.

yes, IMO the limits are the correct way to handle your sharp action. Bet delays are unethical, in that the book can pick and choose which bets are accepted Maybe as technology/software improves and we have more "dynamic lines" like Pinnacle, this practice will be reduced.

Of course, books feel the need to set high limits, beyond what they can handle, just like books feel the need to offer bonus/promotions that are bigger than they are (or should be) comfortable with
