I usually use a minimum of 5

definitely need at least 1 "square" book (as long as you can without being profiled)

and a "sharp" book like Pinny

then I look at other promos (reduced juice, free half point days, etc) but the main criteria to me is having unique numbers to bet into.

If you pick a nice basket of 4-5 books, you should be able to get close to the "best" number on any given game

Agree with Drunkguy- You need Pinny and a square book. The other books that you use depends on what sports and types of plays that you make. Some guys like props, some HTs, totals, etc. Also the bonus doesn't hurt if you like the book but lines and vig are the most important to me.

I have at times had 25+ places funded. I did alot of scalping & used to place funds in books some would consider questionable or downright have never heard of. I haven't been scalping of late so I'm dealing with my main books at this time as I start the baseball season.

I have no problem playing at "questionable books"

just keep a small amount there, and withdraw often

SIA is the easiest way for a new player to build a bankroll

that might be true DG about SIA but, if you bet more than $25 a game your probly going to run into some kind of problems with them one way or another.

well, maybe, but I have never had a problem with them, I haven't withdrawn more than $1000 at a time, but I never had to wait more than 24 hours for a payout via Neteller.

I forgot what the site was called but it had over 100+ books. I found out about a bunch of these no name or what some would deem questionable books from the site. I would sign up for an account, browse lines for up to a week max & if I saw they would have a bunch of scalp opportunities or favorable lines on a regular basis, I'd make a deposit. One of my favorite books to scalp at was Goldbetting but I stopped playing there when some people I knew from forums emailed me about being stiffed by them. I never had a problem personally but the warning signs were starting to worry me so I got out when I did & lived to tell about it. They were scalpable every day as you always had atleast 1 or 2 scalps good to go especially in the NBA.

Personally I think it is if you don't get too cute or leave too much laying around. Most of the books I dealt with were no names so I didn't feel that scared as because I felt somewhat good they didn't advertise on forums. I saw that as a good sign the usual weasels might not be doing business with them.
