Looks to me as the division between Conservatives and Liberals is deeper than what initially foreseen.....while wishing long life to Pope Benedict XVI, it his apparent that his Papacy will not be amongst the longest ones, nowhere near the length of John Paul II.......this might give sufficient time to the opposite factions within Cardinals to bridge to a more stable and longer Papacy in the future.
