Temple University announced today that seven members of its football team have been declared academically ineligible to compete during the 2005 season.

The seven players are senior running back Tim Brown, senior strong safety Bobby Fulmore, senior wide receiver Mike Holley, junior cornerback David Reese, senior defensive end J.C. Braker, junior offensive guard Sam McNaulty and junior defensive end David Fatherly.

Last season, Brown was a mutli-faceted back for the Owls. He rushed for 432 yards and two TDs, caught 33 passes for 199 yards and one score and was sparingly used as a returner.

this line jumped from 26.5 to 31 today.what a horrible time for this to happen to temple. freaked

ya, i knew about this one already but, i do appreciate the heads up for every one... good job roxy :)

btw, this was one of the games i was eying even before this announcement :)

does the 31 points make anyone cringe?i know temple is just plain putrid anyway but asu has to start a new QB cuz isnt walter gone?i better go do my homework! football in 3 days! jumpin

I dont see much if any dropoff here in QB's as Keller has experience and will do just fine, especially at home against a very weak defense. ASU likely to put up close to 50.

This team will be F-U-N to watch: Arizona State, ranked 5th nationally in passing last year, comes back LOADED at receiver and new QB Sam Keller can get 'em the damn ball -- as witnessed by his '04 audition (42/71, 606 yds, 5 tds, 1 int, 151.27 rating.)
