When I first attempted to post with my Treo600 at a VB board (SBR and EOG) I found out I couldnt get a cursor in the message box. So I figured that was werid so I jumped into the UserCP at SBR and found a little something that worked.

If you have or are thinking about getting a Treo600/650 smartphone, here is what you will need to do to beable to post from it at those VB boards (Do this on your home PC, faster that way):

Click on UserCP
Click on Edit Options
Scroll to bottom of page
In Miscellaneous Options, In the drop down menu, Change "Enhaced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing" to "Standard Editor - Extra Formatting Controls"

The Treo's browser seems to have problems with the "Enhaced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing". So switching it to "Standard Editor - Extra Formatting Controls" will allow you to get a cursor in the message box on your Treo.

Forums I posted on with the Treo:

TOW = Yes
OGD = Yes
SBR = Yes
EOG = Yes
SC = Yes
MW = Yes
Rx = No (not that I couldnt, it just has a hard time loading the whole page, I get a "page to big" error)

Just a little info for Treo users, or future Treo users. smile

Oh I know it. If you need a PDA and a cell phone, smartphones make it two in one and less things you have to carry. Lets you do so many things with one device. Im liking the Samsung i730, but SprintPCS dont have it yet. So I will stick with the Treo untill I find something new I like.
