I take this opportunity to extend my personal welcome to Rich Coast Sports to the rookie project.

I was undoubtfully positively impressed by my recent visit at the book's premises.

The ambition of the rookie project is to help newly established books to obtain deserved visibility.

I would also like to thank RCS for their special sign up offer reserved to TOW and TOW Forum readers.

Rookie Project Disclaimer

The Endorsed Rookie project is designed to provide visibility to newly established sports books that offer something new and unique to players. However players should always bear in mind that newer operations lack the test of time. While TOW guarantees a continuous monitoring on Endorsed Rookies books, players are invited to proceed with caution never depositing more than what they could afford to lose. Endorsed Rookies are covered by TOW Funds Safety Program.

I love these $100 for a $100 get to know us type of bonuses.

Over the years such books as BoDog, TC Bets, MVP, SportBet, Carib,
and SirBet (before they went back to being a credit shop) are some
of the books that have offered this, and I feel really benefited from people
getting to test them out. I feel these are a win/win as long as the book
protects themselves with the proper rollover, rules, etc.

Sunday, I signed up with 777Rock thru one of these excellent TOW promo's.
And in the next day or two I will be giving Rich Coast a try also.

Thanks TOW

bill,

i thought so too. just because a book is newer, doesnt mean that its not worth trying out. as a matter of fact, sometimes thats where you can get the most value sometimes...

Third, a "top books only" advertising policy may sound good in principal, but the books will see diminishing returns over time, lessening a site's income from advertising. They will eventually be forced to accept newer books or see their profits fall.

You are the guys that are telling everyone that TOW only accepts top-tier books as advertisers, not me. But I expect you to hold yourselves to that statement. You are not right now.

I received the standard 20% and have been very happy with their services. 100/100 with that rollover is a great way to try Rich Coast.

Deposited late Thursday afternoon for the $100/$100 Promo.
They even covered the $12 W.U. fee, which was very generous.
Very cool looking site. Will place a College wager there on Saturday.

I suggested to them today, that if they do any book-to-book transfers
they should get the word out. It sounds like they don't at this time.
Or if they do, the customer service rep wasn't sure.

Posted By : ihatecountrylife - 10/14/2005 12:46 AM

We have been playing for 2 days and so far so good.Lines are good and up early enough.Didn't take the bonus as we don't want to tie up funds for 30 days (always windup losing postup whenever we try tp leave it for 30 days)but c/s was right on the ball when a small situation arose with my wife and the casino.Quickly handled and they even offered to cover the western union fees if we wanted to withdraw. Decided not to withdraw as these guys seem on the ball. Seem like good guys. Will report if we are lucky enough to withdraw and how it goes.yeah

I'm not recommending the book for more than $2500 but here's my experience. They once gave out a free $50 account. I hit a couple of games and turned it into $200 and asked for a Neteller withdrawal. I checked back in 5 hours later and it was there. I don't know how fast they transfer as I was gone for a 5 hour period but I was paid.

The reason I say $2500 is because of the TOW program.

  1. Funds will be distributed within 72 hours after verified state of insolvency of affected operation.
  2. The maximum amount covered by the program is $2,500 per verified account.
  3. The Offshore Wire will assist FREE of charge players requiring collection or bailout assistance through TOW in case of failure of a sportsbook with an ongoing and non expired service agreement.
  4. Funds will be distributed on first come / first serve basis.

you guys may want to play horses over there. I swear the last 10 horses i bet have all won.. I bet horses at 5 dimes and can't win a damn race. since coming over here i can't lose. Why is it that at one book your luck can suck and another it seems like you can't lose? I am afraid to move from where i'm sitting!! :)

rich coast has been very good to me and my poker buddies who also play there.last year i was hesitant to deposit over a dime because they wern,t rated at sportsbook review, but they let me know when sbr had them down and i,ve collected many times from them without any hassles.i especially like their hockey lines which have soft totals numbers

Posted By : ihatecountrylife - 10/14/2005 2:32 PM
rpm,
I don't think i had won 10 races in the last month!! The last couple races i tested my luck and played by names and they won...ormond by the sea (was born there and may be moving back) paid $15.80, Northern vacation (we are going to ny next week) and a few others..With my bundy curse i am afraid to go out (i have to run to the store).I will probably windup getting hit by a train (even though i dont cross any train tracks!):)

I've been using richcoastsports for quite a while, and I commented about them in another section of this website. They pay on-time and do it with no problem. They have made alot of progress and their website is really impressive.

I've bet with them for a number of months and they started with 800 bets 3 or 4 months ago and now are near 9000 wagers. Low juice on wagers make it also attractive if you are shopping for a good book with low-juice, this is a really good one.

good luck and always choose wisely

Rpm,   We are still up but will be closing the account monday morning. They pull the 2nd half lines on some of the games like 10 minutes before kickoff (cost me 1k). They forget to put lines up as well. Was waiting for the sdsu line and they put up the teams but forgot to put the spread up. Another $500.. WE sent them 2 emails and got no response. Going back to 5dimes.Will update about how they pay after we withdraw. If you bets halves (like me) they are not for you...

Posted By : RPM - 10/16/2005 1:59 AM
country,

sorry to hear that. perhaps they ran into some problems today?

may be worth it to give them a second chance...

Posted By : Gforce - 10/16/2005 11:19 AM
mmm... that's weird. I played yesterday around 5 small bets between 1H & 2H's and all lines were there on time and everything was ok. I'm happy with them, haven't win much, but i'm happy. Country, I think that if you sent some e-mails to them and they did not answer, you should off call them instead of sending e-mails, or if you did not see the second half line up on the site, it is easy to call them and ask. That is my personal opinion on this type of issues. Also as far as I know cause I saw it on their website, they are not 24/7, so maybe when you sent the e-mail the CS was closed already, who knows.

Posted By : FISHHEAD - 10/16/2005 11:25 AM
Like the book alot!

Only complaint is that I wish they would get their lines up a tad earlier in the day.

Dear ihatecountrylife,

Unfortunately our Customer Service Department closed yesterday at 9 pm EST.  Your email arrived at 9:01 pm EST. I personally checked the email queue prior to leaving and we must have just missed your email.  Yesterday there ever over 50 college games with a total of over 300 different positions available to wager.  We did miss the Utah 2nd line due to human error, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and will strive to minimize these types of human error.  For your reference you can call our wagering department anytime between 9am EST - 12am EST  if a line or sport you are looking for is not posted and we'll be more than happy to post it.

In reference to a 2nd half line closing 10 minutes before kickoff the situation is as follows.  If a game is not televised or available to us to watch we must use our Don Best Service which most sportsbooks use.  Since half time is only 20 minutes or so and we set the lines approximately 2 minutes after the end of the first half and we only have a +15 minute betting window. We monitor Don Best and receive a 1 minute warning for the second half start. We manually close the 2nd half lines as soon as Don Best indicates the kickoff. We checked our system logs and cannot find any game that was closed 10 minutes early. If you can be more specific on what game you think closed early I will check our system logs again.

We appreciate your business and we are here to serve.

Sincerely,

Phil Share

It happened again tonight. I tried betting the 1st half of the seattle game at exactly 8:30 and it was pulled. The full game was gone as well. You then put the full game back up until kickoff at abut 8:40...The strange thing is that you left the props up until kickoff
It may sound anal but like others i bet in the last 15 minutes and need that option in a book. I appreciate the fact you pointed out about having 300 different betting positions but i waited specifically for the sd state 2nd half as i watched the game and saw how utah played and wanted to take the points (i figured would have been around 6/7)..It was not an obsure matchup and was covered by the espn package. It just makes me sick when that happens because every time it does i would have been on the winning side. That game made the difference in me losing yesterday instead of winning. I appreciate the reply and wish you guys well but i need a book that gives me a full range of betting options.

Country.... did they got back at you with some resolution to this probem?

Posted By : ihatecountrylife - 10/17/2005 5:52 PM

Gforce,

They sent us a email this morning(i don't think they mind me posting it). I accept it and understand. It was just a very stressful weekend and every game i wound up missing would have won...Part of the game i guess...I plan on making a withdrawal as we are going away next week but will stay on with them as they have been fair and willing to help. Can't say that for some of the "big boys"...

Here is the email:

I received a copy of your email from last night regarding lines closing
early again.  It is only through feedback likes yours that we can
improve our service and I take every client comment very seriously and
once again looked into your complaint. I have now discovered  why this
is happening.

As I stated in my previous email we use the Don Best  service.  Don Best
posts the start times for first and second halfs and have a color change
on the screen to indicate a 1-2 minute warning and then a full color
change for the  kickoff. We are in the process of training a new line
mover and he was closing the lines based on the stated time and not
following the color changes for the actual kickoff resulting in some
lines closing up to 10 minutes early.  We are now aware of the situation
and have corrected it. You should not experience this particular problem
again.  As I also stated before, in a situation like this you can call
the call center and we will be more than happy to open an incorrectly
closed line or post a line if you don't find it.

They seem to have it fixed with pulling the lines early. I am still having trouble digesting the fact i wound up down on the last 3 days instead of up because of the issues and have decided to withdraw the balance. I talked with chat and asked for a western union withdrawal and will update tomorrow when received. In closing i will say these guys are ok and as long as they learn from their errors they will be fine. Unfortunately for me it would up costing me big time. I just don't want to take the chance of it happening again to me.

nice RCS..... quick payouts, excelent CS and good lines. As every new sportsbook, you have to learn from the little mistakes, but to me it looks like you are going up guys, keep the good work and you'll be in the top books the next season. Like I said once before on this forum, the best way to market your self is with excelent CS and quick payouts, things that some of the big books do not have and don't do and you guys do without a problem. I hope I can win someday and make a payout to see with my own eyes what you do, but I'm happy right now betting with you guys, so will keep doing for the rest of the sseason. Also, ihatecountrylife, I know you had a bad experience with them, but if I were you, I give them a second chance, one more, if happens again, then leave. good luck ihatecountrylife. :p

Hey applepicks,

A little harsh maybe? It was more like a mild spanking, lol. Next week you're all going down.  The gauntlet has been thrown.

I thought Linesmakers were supposed to be sharp and knowledgable. Didn't you go 1-2-1 for a total of 1 point? I wasn't  tryin to be harsh just reality when out of ten points you got ONE! Now that said I know that everybody has bad days (usually me) and you may have a better weekend next weekend. Good Luck with your picks, you just happened to come to the sharpest forum around, thats all.Apple

Applepicks,
Thanks to the hurricane we didn't post this weekend and the Line Manager picks were 100%. Figures !!!! Anyway, he said to tell you that now that he's sucked you in, next weekend, the sharpest forum around is going DOWN.yeah

We'll coordinate with RPM and the lines will be up Wednesday 12 pm as usual. Get your picks in early and best of luck.

Posted By : applepicks - 10/30/2005 7:39 PM
What about the winnings from the first week? You will deposit those winnings into our accounts before this weeks picks correct? I sure hope so. RCS your linesmaker may have hit 100% this weekend, just to bad TOW was down. Also please tell him I'll have at least 8 points next week. That gives him a shot at least.Apple

Posted By : Rich Coast Sports - 10/30/2005 7:51 PM

Thanks for the shot Apple. I'll be watching for those 8 points. Do you have a second promo only account with us. If you are a client then open a second promo only account so we can figure the rollover.  As soon as RPM gets me the winners it will be credited.

You never know...One day you might need a TOW

Posted By : Rich Coast Sports - 10/30/2005 9:30 PM

Hi Jersey,

We dont want to confuse real money with promo money as the rollovers are different.  If you have a postup account then open a second account and email us to let us know its your TOW promo account .  We'll credit the promo account with the $100. If you  make the rollover we can either do a payout or credit your real money account or a bit of both, as you prefer.

As for the "weekly $100", sounds like you planning on winning every week till the end of NFL.  I think our Line Manager might have something to say about that but since he left for the day, Hahahahahahahaahaha. Good one.  Get your picks for this weekend and we'll see who's the man !!!!!!!!

Take care,

Rich Coast Sports

The first time we posted up we ran i think $600 to close to 3k..To their credit thay did pay extremely fast (western union was done within 2 hours of asking) but after the b.s that happened this last weekend i will never go back. The rudeness of that guy Marco was the icing on the cake.

RCS,

I appreciate the fact that you are personally replying to me. Believe me that if I would of saved the chat I'd be more than glad to send it to you so you can improve the service as you say you would. I hope that because I'm not able to send it to you you don't take it as it didn't happened since I have nothing against you guys..."yet".

..."yet" because I might join you and might screw up, and even though it would be sort of justified since you are a new company, some people would let it pass. On the other end, I wouldn't.

I'm currently dealing with great services that took me a while to find due to my escepticism. Every once in a while I will go with a different book just to have variety on any aspect like bonuses or lines but mostly lines. I am trying a new one called 777ROCK because they have offered both of the features previously mentioned. As soon as I have a problem with them I'm gone, but so far so good.

..."yet" because of little details such as the incident on the live chat get me. If I have a little problem before signing up, what could I expect if I do?

Thanks for your reply, and remember something as an advice...any company will give you a big smile on your first step which is putting the money. I expect that smile all along. Best of lucks RCS

Dear AKERONTE,

I had no doubt that the chat took place. I actually went back over 12 days worth of chats this morning and found your chat on Oct 23rd.  Based on your chat transcript I just had a meeting with Customer Service to address the, as far as I'm concerned, unsatisfactory response you received.   You asked a straight forward question "just wondering about your sign up promo...cash or freeplay?" which was not answered in a straight forward manner. By the way, its cash.

The customer service rep in question was dealing with a call at the same time as your chat which led to this. It's not an excuse as far as I'm concerned and I have addressed the issue.

Once again, I appreciate your comments and I totally agree its all in the little details. That's why I went back through 12 days of chats to find yours, lol.

Hey RCS,

If he was on the phone at the same time that this happened and couldn't deal with both, maybe you should hire more people, but at least he wasn't just sitting down with his thumb up his ass. rolleyes I could tell from what I remember of the conversation, that it wasn't only the way he avoided that initial question but it was more a the fact of being rude and copy pasting later on.

Either way...I am pleased onthe way that you handle this, your company should be thankful for having you aboard buddy.

I might still try you out, but probably I will give you guys some more time to come up with a bigger clientele so you can be able to pay me yeah Appreciate it once again how you've been on top of this little issue.

PS/ tell Marco to stop working so hard

Hell, i think they should tell Marco to stop working period!hop

I am not happy with them but i will tell you Akeronte that from our own experiences (both good and bad) with them should you win i feel comfortable in saying you will get paid and paid quickly..I don't think that would even be an issue..They just need quality help in C/S.
