who do you feel has the better service and why.

i won one a contest where i did recieve a months worth a g&j's line tracking services and i felt if was perty good. but, i never did really use don best's premium service before.

Never used G&J's line service, but Don Best is an excellent service for sure.

redsox, g&j is offering a free week for there services right now. you might want to take advantage of it and try it out.

heres the link and directions:

1. Call GJ 1-888-239-5757 and tell them you would like the one week free service from OGD
2. They will give you ID and Password.
3. Click on link in first post in this thread.
4. GJ page will open.
5. Click Gold Odds.
6 Install Software.
7. Install Netframe first if you don't have it.
8. Install Servie.
9. After Installation Click on ICon that should be on your computer.
10. Put in ID and Password
11. Set up books that you would like as well as any other services listed.
12. Post here with any questions , problems , feedback positive or negative.

Dan- you have to check out the new version of G&J. Added scalps, track sheet, conversion charts among other new items.

i read a post over at MW today and, the customer service rep from DB posted today they just upgraded there services as of today.

does anyone have the don best service and, if so what were all the upgrades done.

here was don best's statement they posted today over at MW:

We have added a column to our service to display the Catalina openers.

To view the column in DBS2k, click on the ‘Setup’ menu and choose ‘Casinos’. In the ‘Premium Books’ window you will see ‘Catalina opener’. You probably want to add the column to your Fixed Columns, so click on ‘Move To Fixed’, and then click on ‘Catalina opener’. You can reposition the column by clicking on it and using the ‘Move Up’ & ‘Move Down’ buttons.

To view the column on the Java program, click on the ‘Setup’ button, choose ‘Casinos’ and then select the sport you are setting up (or ‘All Sports’). In the ‘Premium Books’ window you will see ‘Catalina opener’. To place the column at the end of your current list, click on ‘Catalina opener’ and then click the ‘>>>’ button. To place the column in a specific location, click on the casino in ‘Your List’ that you want to place the ‘Catalina opener’ ahead of, click on ‘Catalina opener’ and then click the ‘>>>’ button.

We tested the process over the weekend and everything ran smooth. Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

I have never used Don Best, too expensive and I am not home a lot during the day to use it

I used G&J's "Bronze" (free) service, moves came pretty quick, usually enough to act on

they are much more afforable and I may give them a shot for football/college hoops next year, especially if they have any special offers

G&J is coming, but they aren't there yet.

They are giving DB some good competition, so that should force both of them to become better products.

It will be an interesting next 2 years on this front.

I am wondering when someone is going to make a product like this that works (well) on cell phones

that is the next big growth area

ya, these types of services on cell phones would be great. the only question is which one of the two services will be the first one to utilize this type of technology.
